Warren and Sweat The Cam Loc Executive

Every hunter will agree that one tree stand is never enough. Depending on many factors, will determine what kind of stand you’ll use. Often many hunters will set up more than one stand when there out scouting, so they can come back to them during the hunting season. This is fine if you know you are the only hunter in that area and that your stands are secure. Other hunters sometimes don’t have this luxury, so at the end of the hunt they may have to take their stands with them.

I would like to talk about a climbing stand made by Warren and Sweat. Their Cam Loc Executive is a beauty of a climber. It weights 20 lbs. and comes with padded and adjustable caring straps to give the hunter the ability to fold up and carry the stand comfortable on there back.

The stand has a cable locking system that can fit around trees up to 20"in diameter. Warren and Sweat (www.warrenandsweat.com) makes a cable locking system that is very quite and quick to use. There are no bolts, pins, trap doors, hooks, latchs, or any other retention device normally used with other cable stands. I found their cable locking system quit enjoyable to use because you don’t have to worry about losing things it the dark. The coated, ultra-strong steel cable is simply fed into the stand with the Cam Loc in the open position. With the stand correctly placed on the tree the Loc is closed. The stand is now ready to climb. But with every stand you use, you should climb a few tree before the hunt to get comfortable with how the stand works.

That brings me to the next stand out feature about this climber. It is very comfortable. The seat is ergonomically designed for comfort. Its made with a tri-fold sling seating system and the arm and seat covers are waterproof and padded. The seating area is also extra large for added comfort.

The stand is built with ultra-light aircraft aluminum and has a weight limit of 275 lbs. Stands like this one are important to have in any hunters arsenal
