Southern
Bloomer produce very fine quality firearms cleaning
products, specifically patches. They manufacture patches
for all calibers of modern firearms as well as black
powder patches that are cotton knit and lint free.
They make 3 inch round .54-.58 caliber to .22 caliber
shooting patches (.015 inches thick ) Ticking patches
( .015 inches thick ) and 1 ¼ inch lubricated patches
(.015 inches thick ).
Souther Bloomer has had its products tested by the
U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group out of Fort Devens
Massachusetts. Southern Bloomers patches were tested
in the units sniper weapons as well as standard M16
-A2. They checked out the products for size, fit and
cleaning ability. The patches proved to be consistent,
absorbed cleaning solvents well and left minimal residue
in the barrel. The unit then purchased 40,000 2 ½
square cotton patches, so you know they work well.
