S21 Government Agent

When it comes to my knife I could care less about fashion and flash. I want a sturdy multi-purpose blade that doesn't weight a lot and one that will hold a good edge. SOG is known for producing some very high quality knives. This S21 Government Agent is a solid knife and will act as a great multi-tasking blade.

knivesBack when I was toting a fixed blade everyday, I used it for everything. I might open up a nice and cold MRE or maybe I needed to cut a few pieces of 550 cord with it. I would use my knife to help construct a quick hasty defense position. At times I might even use my knife as a hammer. There are many uses for a good knife in the field.

The S21 Government Agent is a very well designed knife. It has a blade length of 6.25" and an overall length of 11.25". The Government Agent has a very comfortable weight of 8 oz. The steel is AUS6, which is a common steel type for performance blades, and powder coated to prevent corrosion. The AUS6 is designed for low carbon. While this does affect the strength of the blade, it has a superior resistance to rust and corrosion. This knife will hold an edge just fine and when dulled it will recover with little effort.

What good is a knife without a decent sheath? I say not very good at all. Many times I've received decent knifes only to be disappointed by the quality of the sheath. The S21 Government Agent comes with a reliable and comfortable all-weather Kydex sheath. Its easy to snap on your web belt or any other belt. The sheath also has holes in it for water drainage and its ambidextrous. The operation is quick and the knife will snap into place for a snug fit.

The S21 Government Agent is well balanced and sturdy enough to meet all of your standard requirements and more. The look and feel of this knife seems to be just the thing I need. Maybe the non-fashion statement is in fact the greatest fashion statement of all. Simplicity is the natural result of profound thought.
