LEUPOLD Mark 4 CQ/T

A tactical sight is something that professionals can't afford to overlook or neglect. The Mark 4 CQ/T is a breakthrough in combat optic design. This is one of the most versatile and multi-talented scopes ever produced. Law enforcement officials and military personnel across the globe will find a new freedom with this efficient and well thought out piece of tactical gear. The Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T is one of the best sight devices you can add to any M-16/AR-15 type of weapon.

The scope is just less than 9 inches and weights 18.6 oz (including the battery pack, batteries and mount). It's designed primarily to use on mid-range and close targets. It's like having two sights in one. The Mark 4 CQ/T merges a circle dot sight capability with variable-power to offer users the ability to acquire targets at different distances and situations with ease and speed. Target acquisition speed is quick and that's one of the most important aspects of any tactical shooting device.

This is a 1x to 3x variable; it has a dot reticle of 3 MOA at 3x and 9 MOA at 1x. Also something to note are the ten illumination settings to match any light conditions without overwhelming your natural low-light vision; two low-intensity settings work with night-vision devices. The eye relief is designed specifically to meet M16 variant cheek weld. The objective is 14 mm. The windage and elevation adjustments are ½" MOD clicks. The dot reticle can be seen while not illuminated, which means you can use this scope without batteries.

The circle dot reticle works just like any other dot sight; you use it with both eyes open. The field of view is clear and easy to find. 14mm is not a big objective, but it would be very difficult to use this as a close range tactical sight with anything much larger than that. The dot is illuminated and works great in low-light conditions. One simple AA batteries power this system.

The Mark 4 CQ/T also has range-estimating capabilities. Aside from the standard dot, this has an outer circle. This is the key for range estimation. A 6' target will fit snug inside the circle at 100 yards. At 200 yards the 6 ft. target will fit inbetween the center dot and the circle. Even I couldn't mess that up!

If you take a look at the way our troops have to fight in recent times, you can easily see the importance of accurate shooting. With most urban warfare, the streets and building are lined with the innocent. This especially becomes a serious factor for our law enforcers. This scope closes the gap between close range and mid range shooting. Every second and every bullet counts in a firefight. The Mark 4 CQ/T will help users fire more accurately at a faster rate of fire, plus it gives them the extra and much needed accuracy when engaging targets a little further than close range.

Leupold has been around a long time. Everything they produce has the same durability and ruggedness that they are known for. Special Military and Law enforcement can purchase the "certified" version of this scope. It was ASQ tested and it was designed based on direct input from special tactical units of both law and military. For more information please see www.leupold.com
