New
from Epperson Mountaineering is the Ridgeliner Backpack.
This Rucksack has a lot of potential for military personnel.
Constructed, in woodland, of 1000 Denier Cordura with
a urethane coating for water resistance. They use large
tab YKK zippers, selected for their durability. Nylon
webbing and fastex fasteners are used to finish the
product.
The main compartment is top loading, with a diagonal
zipper for front access. This allows you to get to items
that are in the middle of the pack without taking everything
out. A pocket on top of the flap allows you to keep
essentials handy and an under flap pocket allow you
to keep maps and other items available and dry. A 3
point compression system allows for the load to be stabilized
and other gear to be added to the outside. Two side
pockets are also built into the compression system.
The Pack uses the Torso Track system for the shoulder
carry system. This is a very durable and comfortable
setup. Total volume of the pack is 8500 cubic inches.
It retails for $250.00. Epperson Mountaineering can
