Canon Image Stabilizing Binoculars

Anyone who owns a set of binoculars is familiar with the problem of looking at something at a distance and having the image their looking at appear distorted or blurred. Do to the small movements of your body. The people at Canon have taken the technology they use in their camcorders and applied it to a line of binoculars.

We have recently tested a set of their 10X30 IS (image stabilization) and I've got to tell you it makes a big difference at viewing an image steadily. There is no need to steady your hands or yourself to get a crisp, clear image, it is just a push of a button now.

All of their IS binoculars are ergonomically designed to make useage easy and enjoyable with just one hand. A textured rubber coating provides a non-slip grip and protection from the elements. The image stabilizing controls and focus are center mounted for easy access by either hand. The lens are coated with CANON'S unique "Super Spectra" multicoating that improves overall image quality by maximizing contrast and minimizing color smear.
