Badlands
Daypack
The
daypack is an often-overlooked piece of hunting
equipment. A well made, comfortable and well-stocked
daypack can make a hunt a lot more comfortable as
well as being safer. In my personal daypack I carry
safety items such as water proof matches, space
blanket, compass, water bottle, emergency rations,
etc. On an all day hunt you can carry food, extra
clothes, knife, bone saw and others items depending
on your personal needs. After a successful hunt
you can then use it carry out your meat and antlers.
A good daypack needs to be comfortable as well as
roomy.
I recently had the pleasure to try out a great pack
from Badland's. It is without a doubt the most comfortable
daypack I have ever tried. The contoured back makes
it seem as though it's not even there. It has thick
padded Kevlar shoulder straps that won't slip. This
daypack is also equipped with a chest strap and
waist strap that is adjustable. These keep the daypack
snug to your body. There are several compartments
to hold all of your necessary equipment and still
have plenty of room to put your jacket as the day
warms up. It's made of a soft, durable, water repellant
material in multiple camouflage patterns. The Badland's
daypack has very heavy-duty zippers. The zippers
have large, comfortable draw tabs.
Give the Badland's daypack a try! The daypack that
rides like a backpack. After one day of hunting
with the Badland's daypack I'm hooked.
Badland's can be reached at 800-386-7839. Give them
a call.
