Ex Officio Men and Women's summer adventure wear

We spend allot of time preparing for our outdoor adventure. For me most of my concerns revolve around the hunting season. For some reason, we place more importance on our winter clothes than we do any other. Good winter clothing is a must, but why do we stop there? Why don't we put as much into our spring and summer gear? I know there are extreme hikers, climbers and paddlers out there who spend hours trying to find the right clothes. For you this is very important and you will accept nothing but the best. Fishermen should be on the lookout for great summer clothes too. I've always just worn my regular summer wear to the field, as I am sure many of you do. All of the Ex Officio products that we received are lightweight. More than just lightweight, these are ideal for people who want or need to pack light. They roll up very tight and take up little room. They will dry in no time. These are the perfect pack clothes. Do not let the term "lightweight" fool you, because these clothes are some of the most durable and dependable clothes on the market.

Ex Officio didn't stop at lightweight; they added additional features to these clothes to provide you with an even better and more sensible product. Something I noticed right away was that they are wrinkle resistant. This is very important to people who go on long term touring adventures. Head down into town to grab some lunch or to re-supply, knowing that you look better. There are places where hikers walk trails that go thru the middle of villages. Water resistance is a big plus. These have a light coat of polyurethane to help keep the wet stuff out and keep you dry. They do offer some waterproof clothes, but with many situations having the water resistance is best. Most of the clothes also come with a clever Security Zip pocket. Don't loose your wallet ,gps or those expensive 2-way radios. Keep them safely zipped up into a pocket. One of the biggest and most critical (for me) features is the Teflon stain guard. My mom always said that I could just look at the dirt and get it on me. When I'm on an outing, the last thing I am worried about is staining my clothes. I don't worry about it until I get home. Then I throw them out and have to get new stuff for next year. What a waste of time and money. If I would expect more from my clothes, I would buy stuff that I could keep using over and over again. Now I do expect more, because I've seen the best. Stain resistant clothes get a 10 in my book. These clothes also provide excellent sun protection and that's a must for the summertime.

We can kid ourselves about outdoor fashion all that we want to, but we all feel better in clothes that look good.
