Buckshot35 RTV

There is much to see in this great outdoor world of ours. We spend endless hours walking the trail, or sitting in the stand in hopes of seeing something. Some of us are looking for the perfect Buck, others may be in search of a great bear, and some are there just to share space with these residents of the woods. Do you often wonder about what you don’t see?

Hunters think about what they don’t see all the time. We spend a lot of time scouting and planning for our hunt. Most of my problem comes from there just not being enough of me or enough time in the day to cover all the trails and hot spots that I want to scout.

Foresite offers a product that has helped me a great deal. The Buckshot 35 RTV (Real Tough Version). This is a Camera that can be put in place to take pictures of wildlife 24 hours a day. It uses motion and heat sensors to detect the animal then shoots a snapshot of it. This is a product that can be fun for anyone.

The process is simple. You take the Buckshot 35 to a place where you think animals are, strap it to a tree, and walk away. Depending on the film you use and the activity of the wildlife, you go back in a couple of days to change rolls. I take my film to the 1-hour development. I absolutely can not wait to see the next roll of film as it comes of the camera.

The Buckshot RTV is just what it says, I Real Tough Version. Aside from the normal testing procedures we do here at OEG, I have put this piece of gear to the test. I tend to get in a hurry sometimes and in my excitement I also get very clumsy. I have dropped, kicked, and beat this thing on trees. It has pulled through every time. It has withheld in all the weather conditions including heat, rain, and snow. This thing comes packed tight all to fit inside an ammo can!

The system is powered by using 6 D-cell batteries for the infrared detection circuit and 4 D-cell batteries for camera and flash operation. You won’t spend time worrying about batteries with this system. The Buckshot 35 is a 35mm camera that will produce quality photos better than the ones you take of your family in the back yard.
