BlackLite Gourmet Cookset

Aside from what you cook over, nothing is more important to your gourmet trail cuisine than what you cook your food in. What you need to look for in cookware is a happy medium between lightweight material, rugged construction, and ease of cleaning.

The Blacklite Gourmet Cookset is made of featherweight aluminum with a non-stick coating. Cleaning this cookware was an absolute breeze. We cooked everything from dehydrated trail food, to ranch style beans to pasta with sausage in them, trying to find a combination that would stick to the pot. Even when we intentional burned the contents of the pot, it took very little effort to clean up. Of course, we must remind you to avoid using metal utensils on any non-stick surface if possible. This will help avoid scratching the surface of the cookware and will ensure that cleanup remains easy.

The BlackLite Gourmet Cookset includes a 1.5 liter pot and a 2 liter pot, a 7 1/4 inch fry pan and a fitted lid. This combination will cover just about every cooking chore you would reasonably undertake on the trail. The cookset also includes a PanHadler pot lifter. All of the items in the BlacLite Cookset nest together and fit neatly into the included stuff sack. The entire cookset weighs in at only 23.5 ounces, making it well worth the minimal weight in your pack.
