The daypack is an often-overlooked piece of hunting equipment. A well made, comfortable and well-stocked daypack can make a hunt a lot more comfortable as well as being safer. In my personal daypack I carry safety items such as water proof matches, space blanket, compass, water bottle, emergency rations, etc. On an all day hunt you can carry food, extra clothes, knife, bone saw and others items depending on your personal needs.
