ALASKAN FIRE MITE

The Alaskan Fire Mite is a revolutionary new design in fire starting. This new patent product consist of a paraffin wax and 100% cotton cloth, and is non-toxic. This product is rolled up 2 inches in diameter and 3 inches long and weighs Virtually nothing, wraped inside of the cloth are strike anywhere matches.

Easy to use, you just peel back the material to the length of 5''piece and tear from the roll, remove the exposed strike anywhere match. Place material under wood or charcoal and strike the match and touch the sheet. A 5'' sheet will burn with a large hot flame for 4 to 6 minutes. There is enough material to start 8 to 10 fires.

I took this product along with me on a 3 day canoe trip on the Delaware river and it rained for 3 days and nights, I packed the Alaskan Fire Mite in my rucksack in a side pocket, after the first day of canoeing and a foot of water in the canoe from the rain and the rapids. I dumped out all the water from my gear and proceeded to build camp, I pulled the Alaskan Fire Mite from my rucksack side pouch and gathered kindling to start a fire.

I followed the instructions for starting a fire with the Alaskan Fire Mite and I was quite surprised how well it burned. We got a good fire going with only a 5'' piece of material, I was very pleased with how well the Alaskan Fire Mite worked, it beats the old way of paper and fuel oil.

I believed the Alaskan Fire Mite is the best all-round fire starter on the market, each roll will start 8 to 10 fires and is light weight, compact, durable and most of all it's WATERPROOF. Retail prices of $3.99 each it's a great product for the money.
